Prices and Charges

Prices for purchases in the Republic of Ireland are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT.

Any delivery charges and other applicable charges payable to us will be displayed before you complete your purchase. Where an additional charge cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will explain how it is determined.

We may change prices for future orders. A price change does not alter the agreed price of an existing contract.

If we discover a genuine pricing or listing error affecting your order, we will contact you promptly. We will not charge an increased price or substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

Any cancellation because of an error will be handled only where permitted by applicable law. If we cancel an order, we will refund payments made for it without undue delay.

 

Placing an Order

Please provide accurate and complete contact, billing and delivery details and check your order before submitting it.

You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. We will communicate any payment, stock or delivery issue promptly.

The checkout and confirmation messages will explain whether your order has been accepted or is awaiting acceptance. These terms do not allow us to disregard a contract that has already been formed.

If you notice an error in your order details, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to make the requested correction, although changes may be difficult once dispatch has begun.

 

Refusal or Cancellation of Orders

Before accepting an order, we may decline it for a reasonable reason, including:

• Unsuccessful payment

• Unavailable stock

• Information necessary to fulfil the order being missing or incorrect

• Reasonable concerns about fraud or unlawful activity

• A genuine pricing or listing error

We may request clarification where necessary.

Delivery

Some products may be dispatched directly by overseas suppliers or fulfilment partners. Máire & Niamh remains responsible for fulfilling its obligations to you as the seller.

We will deliver within the period agreed when you order. If no delivery period has been agreed, delivery must take place without undue delay and normally no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded.

If delivery is delayed, contact us. Your statutory rights may include setting an appropriate additional delivery deadline and cancelling for a refund if delivery still does not take place. In circumstances recognised by law, you may cancel without giving an additional deadline.

Where we arrange delivery, the goods generally remain at our risk until you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, takes physical possession of them.

 

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

For most online purchases, you also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive the goods, subject to applicable exceptions. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

Our voluntary guarantee does not replace your statutory rights. Sale items retain the same statutory protections as full-price items.

If goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under applicable law.
